BFA, Studio Art with emphasis in Fibers/Weaving Sculpture


EXPERIENCE

2014 – Present           Kitchen Designer Kitchen Design Concepts – Dallas, TX

Provided exceptional customer service to a variety of clients, including home owners, architects, builders and interior designers. Created drawings and product specifications for kitchen and bath remodels utilizing 20-20 technologies, Microsoft Office and Adobe Software.

2011 – Present           Art Department Freelance –  Nashville, TN

Fulfilled the role of Art Director, Set Decorator, Set Dresser and Scenic Painter on a wide variety of productions for film and television. Worked alongside the Director and Production Designer to bring to life the intended vision of the narrative.

Projects include Nashville (Scenic Painter), 42 (Scenic Painter), Tabitha’s Salon Takeover (Set Decorator), Cole Swindell “Chillin It” (Art Director), Keith Urban “Little Bit of Everything” (Set Decorator), The Identical (Set Dresser), Finding Harmony (Talent Assistant), Inspiration (Set Decorator), among others.

2012 – 2014               Interior Designer ModerNash Furniture Supply – Nashville, TN

Managed interior design projects, from concept to fruition, for residential and commercial remodeling and restoration across the full spectrum of project sizes and budgets.

2012 – 2014               Creative Fabrication MadeFirst – Nashville, TN

Consulted with production and design teams to create sculptural pieces for entertainment and commercial use. Fabricated a wide variety of three dimensional works for public display, conventions, trade shows, film, television and theatre.

2010 – 2011               Gallery Director Soda Tooth Contemporary – San Marcos, TX

Cofounded a community space to promote the work of local artists and to cultivate an interdisciplinary dialogue between collegiate students and artists of all media. Coordinated group shows and exhibitions, organized events and managed “Smart Space,” an art education program for youth.
